Workday (WDAY) Releases Q2 2027 Earnings: Revenue Growth and Strong Profitability

Workday, Inc. (WDAY) reported second-quarter 2027 revenue of $2.6 billion, up 12.8% from a year earlier, as the company continued to grow its business across both revenue and profitability. Gross profit rose to $2.0 billion, while operating profit climbed 26.2% to $313 million.

Bottom-line results were especially strong. Net income attributable to common shareholders reached $632 million, a sharp increase of 177.2% year over year, and diluted earnings per share came in at $2.57, up 206.0% from the same period last year.

Cash generation was softer during the quarter. Cash from operating activities totaled $519 million, down 15.8% year over year, while cash and cash equivalents stood at $661 million. Total liabilities were $9.4 billion, reflecting a 6.9% increase from a year ago.
