Timken Q2 sales rise 7.5% to $1.26 billion

The Timken Company (TKR) reported second-quarter 2026 sales of $1.26 billion, up 7.5% from a year earlier. Net income was $28.9 million, or $0.41 per diluted share, compared with $78.5 million, or $1.12 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter.

The company said current-period net income included an impairment charge related to the anticipated divestiture of its belts business. Timken updated its 2026 outlook and now expects full-year GAAP diluted EPS of $3.75 to $4.05.

  • Revenue Second-quarter sales were $1.26 billion, with organic sales up 4.4% from the second quarter of 2025.
  • Profit Net income margin was 2.3%, compared with 6.7% a year earlier.
  • Segments Engineered Bearings sales rose 3.8% to $807.0 million, while Industrial Motion sales rose 14.6% to $453.9 million.
  • Cash flow Net cash provided by operations was $107.1 million, and free cash flow was $80.5 million.
  • Outlook Timken expects 2026 revenue to be up about 5.5% at the midpoint from 2025 and adjusted diluted EPS of $6.05 to $6.35.
