Pelosi’s Bloom Energy Options Gain an Estimated $1.5 Million

Quiver Data Analyst

Bloom Energy ($BE) call options purchased by Rep. Nancy Pelosi's husband in July have generated an estimated $1.4 million to $1.6 million in unrealized gains, as Bloom shares have rallied sharply since the transactions.

  • Pelosi's disclosure shows 100 June 2027 $100 calls purchased July 24 and another 100 on July 28, giving the position exposure to 20,000 Bloom shares.
  • Transaction-day option prices indicate the 200 contracts likely cost approximately $2.13 million to $2.31 million combined.
  • At a current option price of $187.60, the contracts are worth approximately $3.75 million, implying an estimated 62%-76% unrealized return.
  • The disclosure also shows purchases of 10,000 Bloom shares on July 24 and 5,000 shares on July 28.
  • Bloom reported record Q2 revenue of $1.07 billion, up 166% year-over-year, and raised its 2026 revenue guidance to $3.9-$4.2 billion.
  • On Wednesday, Bloom said its 800V DC-native power system could reduce non-compute capital costs for a 1-GW AI data center by $3.6 billion, or 27%, based on company analysis.
