KBR Q2 Revenue Rises to $2 Billion as Net Income Jumps 32%

KBR, Inc. (KBR) reported second-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue of $2.0 billion, up 2% from a year earlier, and net income attributable to KBR of $96 million, up 32%. Diluted EPS attributable to KBR was $0.75, up 34%.

The company said growth was driven by Sustainable Technology Solutions project ramp-ups and Mission Technology Solutions growth across International Government Clients. KBR reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 outlook and said its planned Mission Technology Solutions spin-off is targeting completion on January 4, 2027.

  • Second-quarter revenue was $1.984 billion, compared with $1.952 billion a year earlier.
  • Net income attributable to KBR was $96 million, compared with $73 million in the prior-year quarter.
  • Diluted EPS attributable to KBR was $0.75, compared with $0.56 a year earlier.
  • Operating income was $172 million, with an operating income margin of 8.7%.
  • Backlog and options totaled $23.0 billion at quarter end, with book-to-bill of 1.1x.
  • KBR reaffirmed fiscal 2026 revenue guidance of $7.90 billion to $8.36 billion.
