Chemours reports $1.59 billion Q2 sales and $274 million loss

The Chemours Company (CC) reported second-quarter 2026 net sales of $1.591 billion, down 1% from $1.615 billion a year earlier. The company posted a net loss attributable to Chemours of $274 million, or $1.81 per diluted share, compared with a $380 million loss, or $2.53 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter.

Adjusted EBITDA was $247 million, compared with $260 million a year earlier. Chemours said operating cash flows were $158 million, capital expenditures were $44 million and free cash flows were $114 million for the quarter.

  • Thermal & Specialized Solutions net sales were $591 million, down 1% year over year.
  • Titanium Technologies net sales were $661 million, up 1% year over year.
  • Advanced Performance Materials net sales were $326 million, down 6% year over year.
  • As of June 30, 2026, consolidated gross debt was $3.9 billion and unrestricted cash and cash equivalents were $671 million.
  • For full-year 2026, Chemours continues to expect net sales growth of 1% to 5% over 2025 and adjusted EBITDA of $775 million to $825 million.
