Cellectar Reports $6.9 Million Second-Quarter Net Loss as Phase 3 Preparation Begins

Cellectar Biosciences (CLRB) reported a net loss of $6.9 million, or $0.57 per basic and diluted share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company had $34.0 million in cash and cash equivalents at quarter-end.

The company initiated site activation for its confirmatory Phase 3 trial of iopofosine I 131 in relapsed or refractory Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia and plans to submit a New Drug Application in mid-2027 under the FDA's Accelerated Approval Program.

  • Second-quarter research and development expense was $4.6 million, compared with $2.4 million a year earlier.
  • General and administrative expense was $2.6 million, compared with $3.6 million in the prior-year period.
  • Cellectar initiated enrollment and dosed the first patients in its Phase 1b trial of CLR 125 in refractory triple-negative breast cancer.
  • In the CLOVER WaM study subset of 24 evaluable patients immediately following BTK inhibitor therapy, iopofosine I 131 reported a 79.2% major response rate and 87.5% overall response rate.
  • The company said its June 30 cash balance is adequate to fund budgeted operations into the second quarter of 2027.
