Lithium Americas Corp. Common Shares

LAC: Lithium Americas is a pure-play lithium producer. The company owns three lithium resources, two brine-based operations located in northwestern Argentina and a clay project in Nevada, U.S. One of the Argentina resources is in production, while the other is in development and the U.S. project is under construction. We expect the U.S. project to enter production in the middle of the 2020s and the second brine resource to enter production in the late-2020s. Lithium Americas plans for all three resources to be fully integrated, selling into the lithium chemical market. The company also plans to separate into two companies, with assets divided by geography, an Argentina company and a U.S. company.
