VerifyMe Q2 Revenue Falls 58% to $1.9 Million

VerifyMe (NASDAQ: VRME) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.9 million, down from $4.5 million a year earlier. The company recorded a net loss of $505,000, or $0.04 per diluted share, compared with a $291,000 loss, or $0.02 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter.

The company said the revenue decline was primarily due to lost ProActive services revenue following the September 2025 termination of its agreement with a prior carrier partner. VerifyMe reported cash of $5.1 million and working capital of $4.7 million as of June 30, 2026.

  • Gross profit was $1.0 million, with a gross margin of 54%, compared with $1.6 million and 35% a year earlier.
  • Operating loss was $556,000, compared with an operating loss of $322,000 in Q2 2025.
  • Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, was negative $23,000, compared with positive $270,000 a year earlier.
  • VerifyMe said it continued transitioning legacy ProActive customers, onboarding customers and finalizing technology integration with its new strategic shipping partner.
  • The company is not scheduling an earnings call at this time.
