Textron Q2 revenue rises 3% to $3.8 billion

Textron (TXT) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $3.8 billion, up 3% or $111 million from a year earlier. GAAP net income was $248 million, and diluted earnings per share were $1.42, compared with $1.35 in the second quarter of 2025.

The company reiterated its full-year 2026 GAAP EPS outlook of $5.39 to $5.59 and adjusted EPS outlook of $6.40 to $6.60. Textron also said it initiated a sale process for its Industrial segment.

  • Total revenues were $3.827 billion for the quarter, compared with $3.716 billion a year earlier.
  • First-half 2026 revenues rose $500 million, or 7%, from the prior year.
  • Textron Aviation revenue was $1.5 billion, up 1%, with 40 jet deliveries and 44 commercial turboprop deliveries.
  • Bell revenue was $1.1 billion, up 6%, and commercial helicopter deliveries increased to 36 from 32.
  • Textron returned $209 million to shareholders through share repurchases during the quarter.
