Silexion Reports $3.6 Million Second-Quarter Net Loss as SIL204 Trial Starts

Silexion Therapeutics (NASDAQ: SLXN) reported a net loss of $3.551 million, or $5.17 per basic and diluted share, for the three months ended June 30, 2026. The company reported cash and cash equivalents of $2.229 million at quarter-end.

Silexion said its SIL204 Phase 2/3 trial in locally advanced pancreatic cancer was initiated at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center on July 29, following clinical trial authorizations in Israel and Germany.

  • Second-quarter R&D expense was $2.212 million, compared with $1.018 million a year earlier.
  • Second-quarter G&A expense was $1.468 million, compared with $1.266 million a year earlier.
  • Six-month net loss was $6.284 million, compared with $4.238 million in the prior-year period.
  • On August 13, the company closed a public offering with approximately $2.5 million in gross proceeds and approximately $2.1 million in net proceeds.
