Sempra (SRE) reported second-quarter 2026 GAAP earnings attributable to common shares of $796 million, or $1.21 per diluted share, compared with $461 million, or $0.71 per diluted share, in the year-earlier quarter.
Total revenues were $2.997 billion for the quarter, compared with $3.000 billion a year earlier. Sempra also updated its full-year 2026 GAAP EPS guidance range to $5.02 to $5.55 and affirmed its 2026 adjusted EPS guidance range of $4.80 to $5.30.
- Second-quarter net income was $942 million, versus $519 million in the prior-year quarter.
- Basic EPS was $1.22 for the quarter, compared with $0.71 a year earlier.
- Capital expenditures for property, plant and equipment were $2.226 billion in the quarter.
- Sempra said first-half capital expenditures exceeded $6 billion, tied to its 2026 to 2030 capital plan of about $65 billion.
- The planned sale of a 45% equity interest in Sempra Infrastructure Partners to KKR affiliates remains expected to close in the third quarter of 2026.
