The company said revenue exceeded its prior guidance range, with total tons shipped up 22.6% sequentially and average selling prices up 4.5%. Ryerson also reported second-quarter synergy attainment of about $5 million and expects $13 million to $14 million of third-quarter synergies.

- The company expects third-quarter net sales of $1.87 billion to $1.95 billion.
