RMBI Reports Q2 Net Income of $2.2 Million

Richmond Mutual Bancorporation (RMBI) reported second-quarter 2026 net income of $2.2 million, or diluted earnings per share of $0.22, compared with net income of $2.8 million, or $0.28 diluted EPS, in the first quarter and $2.6 million, or $0.26 diluted EPS, a year earlier.

The company said net interest income rose to $12.1 million. Results reflected $1.9 million of nonrecurring merger-related expenses tied to its Farmers Bancorp acquisition, which closed July 1, after the reporting period.

  • Net interest income increased 5.5% from the prior quarter and 12.2% from the year-earlier quarter.
  • Annualized net interest margin was 3.22%, compared with 3.10% in the first quarter and 2.93% a year earlier.
  • Noninterest income was $1.6 million, up from $1.3 million in the prior quarter.
  • Noninterest expense was $10.2 million, including $1.9 million of merger-related expenses.
  • Total assets were $1.6 billion at June 30, 2026, while deposits totaled $1.1 billion.
  • The company completed its merger with Farmers Bancorp on July 1, and the combined bank is operating as First Bank Midwest.
