Piper Sandler Q2 2026 net revenues rise 25 percent to $495.5 million

Piper Sandler Companies (PIPR) reported second-quarter 2026 results, with U.S. GAAP net revenues of $495.5 million, up 25% from the prior-year quarter. Net income attributable to Piper Sandler Companies was $67.8 million, and diluted earnings per common share were $0.95.

The company said advisory services produced record second-quarter revenues of $274 million, while municipal financing revenues reached $50 million. Piper Sandler also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per share.

  • Second-quarter total revenues were $496.3 million, compared with $398.6 million a year earlier.
  • Net revenues for the first half of 2026 were $970 million, up 29% from the prior-year period.
  • Pre-tax margin was 20.3%, compared with 12.3% in the second quarter of 2025.
  • The quarterly dividend is payable September 11, 2026, to shareholders of record as of August 28, 2026.
  • The company returned $215 million to shareholders in the first half through dividends and share repurchases.
