NeoGenomics Expects $209 Million Third-Quarter Revenue as CEO Transition Set

NeoGenomics (NASDAQ: NEO) announced a leadership succession plan under which President and COO Warren Stone will become chief executive officer and join the board effective January 4, 2027. Current CEO Tony Zook will become executive chairman on the same date.

The company expects preliminary, unaudited third-quarter 2026 revenue of approximately $209 million and approximately 28% year-over-year growth in next-generation sequencing revenue. NeoGenomics said it will provide further details, including an expected increase to full-year revenue guidance, on its third-quarter earnings call.

  • Warren Stone, 54, has served as NeoGenomics' president and COO and previously held leadership roles at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics and MilliporeSigma/Merck KGaA.
  • Tony Zook will remain CEO through January 3, 2027, before becoming executive chairman.
  • Board Chair Lynn Tetrault will step down as chair on January 4, 2027 and remain an independent director until the 2027 annual meeting.
  • Michael Kelly will become lead independent director effective January 4, 2027.
  • The company said its third-quarter results remain preliminary, unaudited and subject to completion and potential final adjustments.
