Natural Health Trends Q2 revenue falls 23% to $7.6 million

Natural Health Trends (NHTC) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $7.6 million, down 23% from $9.8 million a year earlier. The company posted a net loss of $451,000, or $0.05 per diluted share, compared with net income of $15,000, or breakeven per diluted share, in the second quarter of 2025.

Management cited cautious consumer spending in China, regulatory uncertainty and conduct by certain members that violated company policies in Hong Kong. The company said its restructuring program produced about $300,000 of operating and other margin-related cost savings during the quarter.

  • Operating loss was $643,000, compared with $333,000 in the prior-year quarter.
  • Active Members totaled 26,000 at June 30, 2026, compared with 29,260 at June 30, 2025.
  • Year-to-date revenue was $16.8 million, down 18% from $20.6 million in the first six months of 2025.
  • Total cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities were $18.6 million at June 30, 2026.
  • The board authorized resuming share repurchases, with $15.9 million remaining available.
  • The company is preparing for its 25th anniversary celebration in Hong Kong in the third quarter.
