Monro MNRO Reports $287.1 Million Fiscal Q1 Sales and Narrower Loss

Monro (MNRO) reported fiscal first-quarter 2027 sales of $287.1 million, down 4.6% from $301.0 million a year earlier. The automotive repair and tire services company posted a net loss of $2.1 million, compared with a net loss of $8.1 million in the prior-year period.

Diluted loss per share was $0.08, compared with a diluted loss per share of $0.28 a year earlier. Comparable store sales from continuing locations decreased 1.7%.

  • Operating income was $3.7 million, compared with an operating loss of $6.1 million a year earlier.
  • Total operating expenses were $96.7 million, or 33.7% of sales.
  • Monro ended the quarter with 1,115 company-operated stores and 47 franchised locations.
  • Availability under its credit facility was $261.5 million, with cash and equivalents of $9.5 million.
  • The company paid a fiscal first-quarter cash dividend of $0.28 per share on June 16, 2026.
  • Monro said it is not providing fiscal 2027 financial guidance at this time.
