Meridian Reports Q2 Net Income of $5.8 Million, Declares Dividend

Meridian Corporation (MRBK) reported second-quarter 2026 net income of $5.8 million, or $0.48 per diluted share, compared with $2.0 million, or $0.17 per diluted share, in the prior quarter. Basic earnings were $0.49 per common share.

The company said second-quarter results included $22.8 million of net interest income, $9.9 million of non-interest income and a $3.0 million provision for credit losses. The board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.14 per common share.

  • Total assets were $2.6 billion at June 30, 2026, compared with $2.6 billion at March 31, 2026.
  • Total deposits increased $24.5 million, or 1.1%, from the prior quarter.
  • Non-performing loans increased to $82.1 million at June 30, 2026 from $58.7 million at March 31, 2026.
  • The dividend is payable August 17, 2026, to shareholders of record as of August 10, 2026.
