Insperity Q2 net income rises to $4 million as revenue increases 2%

Insperity (NSP) reported second-quarter revenue of $1.686 billion, up 2% year over year, for the period ended June 30, 2026. Reported net income rose 180% to $4 million, and diluted EPS rose 171% to $0.10.

The company said average paid worksite employees decreased 1% to 305,764. Operating expenses fell 8% to $211 million, including $8 million related to its Workday strategic partnership.

  • Year-to-date revenue increased 2% to $3.581 billion.
  • Year-to-date net income decreased 20% to $37 million, and diluted EPS decreased 20% to $0.97.
  • Gross profit decreased 3% to $217 million in the second quarter.
  • Insperity provided full-year 2026 GAAP guidance for net income of $28 million to $51 million and diluted EPS of $0.76 to $1.31.
  • Adjusted cash at June 30, 2026 totaled $95 million, with $420 million outstanding under the credit facility.
