Innospec Q2 revenue rises 12 percent to $491.4 million

Innospec (IOSP) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $491.4 million, up 12 percent from $439.7 million a year earlier. Net income attributable to Innospec was $30.8 million, or $1.25 per diluted share, compared with $23.5 million, or $0.94 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter.

The company said all businesses contributed to higher operating income. It ended the quarter with $250.2 million in cash and cash equivalents and no debt, and repurchased $6.4 million of common stock during the quarter.

  • Total operating income was $39.7 million, compared with $34.3 million a year earlier.
  • Performance Chemicals revenue rose 9 percent to $190.3 million, with operating income up 15 percent to $16.4 million.
  • Fuel Specialties revenue rose 12 percent to $185.7 million, with operating income of $36.3 million.
  • Oilfield Services revenue rose 14 percent to $115.4 million, with operating income up 40 percent to $8.7 million.
  • Cash provided by operating activities was $7.2 million for the quarter.
