FutureFuel Reports $78.7 Million Revenue And $11.4 Million Net Income

FutureFuel (FF) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $78.7 million, up 120.7% from $35.7 million a year earlier. The company posted GAAP net income of $11.4 million, or $0.25 per diluted share, compared with a net loss of $14.2 million in the prior-year period.

FutureFuel said revenue growth was driven by higher throughputs, improved revenue mix and higher average pricing in both its Chemical and Biofuel segments. The company ended the quarter with $34.3 million in cash and equivalents and no outstanding borrowings on its revolving credit facility.

  • Total second-quarter revenue was $78.7 million, compared with $35.7 million in the second quarter of 2025.
  • GAAP net income was $11.4 million, versus a net loss of $14.2 million a year earlier.
  • Diluted earnings per share were $0.25, compared with a loss of $0.32 per diluted share in the prior-year quarter.
  • Chemical segment revenue rose 55.5% to $25.8 million.
  • Biofuel segment revenue increased 178% to $52.9 million.
  • Adjusted EBITDA was $11.8 million, compared with negative $11.4 million in the second quarter of 2025.
  • FutureFuel said it expects positive full-year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA, excluding certain derivative and inventory valuation impacts.
