Exagen reports record Q2 revenue of $19.9 million

Exagen Inc. (XGN) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $19.9 million, up 16% from the second quarter of 2025. The company reported a net loss of $3.2 million, compared with a net loss of $4.4 million a year earlier.

Exagen increased its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $72 million to $75 million, compared with prior guidance of $70 million to $73 million. The company said it ended the quarter with about $25 million in cash and cash equivalents.

  • Second-quarter revenue was $19.9 million, compared with $17.2 million in the prior-year quarter.
  • Net loss per share, basic and diluted, was $0.13, compared with $0.21 a year earlier.
  • AVISE CTD test volume rose 11% from the second quarter of 2025.
  • Trailing twelve-month average selling price was $446 per test, up $18 per test from a year earlier.
  • Adjusted EBITDA loss was $0.1 million, compared with a loss of $1.7 million in the second quarter of 2025.
