Ensign Q2 revenue rises 17% to $1.44 billion

The Ensign Group (ENSG) reported second-quarter 2026 results for the period ended June 30, with GAAP diluted earnings per share of $1.68 and consolidated revenue of $1.44 billion, up 17.3% from the prior-year quarter.

The company raised its 2026 annual guidance to $7.75 to $7.85 per diluted share and revenue of $5.87 billion to $5.92 billion. Ensign said it added 20 new operations during the quarter and since, all including real estate assets.

  • GAAP net income attributable to The Ensign Group was $99.7 million, compared with $84.4 million a year earlier.
  • Basic earnings per share were $1.72, while diluted earnings per share were $1.68.
  • Same Facility occupancy was 84.1%, and Transitioning Facility occupancy was 84.7%.
  • Standard Bearer revenue was $44.1 million, and FFO was $24.7 million for the quarter.
  • The company reported approximately $262.3 million of cash on hand and $591.6 million of available line-of-credit capacity.
  • Ensign’s portfolio consists of 398 healthcare operations across 17 states, and it owns 183 real estate assets.
  • The company paid a quarterly cash dividend of $0.065 per share.
