Dave & Buster’s Posts $544.1 Million Revenue and $12.5 Million Q2 Loss

Dave & Buster’s Entertainment (PLAY) reported fiscal second-quarter revenue of $544.1 million, down 2.4% from a year earlier, and a net loss of $12.5 million for the quarter ended August 4, 2026.

The company recorded a diluted loss per share of $0.36, compared with diluted earnings per share of $0.32 in the prior-year quarter. Comparable store sales declined 2.9% from the comparable calendar period in fiscal 2025.

  • Entertainment revenue was $332.6 million and food and beverage revenue was $211.5 million.
  • Operating income was $19.4 million, compared with $53.0 million a year earlier.
  • The company opened six domestic stores during the quarter and ended the period with 250 company-owned stores.
  • Available liquidity was $492.1 million at quarter-end.
  • Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, was $98.9 million, versus $129.8 million in the prior-year quarter.
