Chimera Investment Corporation (CIM) reported second-quarter results for the period ended June 30, 2026, including GAAP net income of $17.4 million. Net income available to common shareholders was a loss of $4.0 million, or $0.05 per diluted common share.
The company said earnings available for distribution, a non-GAAP measure, were $39 million, or $0.46 per adjusted diluted common share. GAAP book value was $17.75 per common share, and Chimera said results maintained support for its $0.45 quarterly dividend.
- Net interest income was $70.5 million for the quarter, compared with $66.0 million a year earlier.
