Cabot reports fiscal Q3 net income of $6 million

Cabot Corporation (CBT) reported fiscal third-quarter 2026 net sales and other operating revenues of $982 million, up from $923 million a year earlier. Net income attributable to Cabot was $6 million, or $0.12 diluted EPS, compared with $101 million, or $1.86 diluted EPS, in the prior-year quarter.

The company reported adjusted EPS of $1.67, segment EBIT of $97 million in Reinforcement Materials and $68 million in Performance Chemicals, and tightened fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to $6.15 to $6.45. Cabot also announced Erica McLaughlin will succeed Sean Keohane as president and CEO effective October 1, 2026.
