Boston Omaha Reports $22.2 Million Second-Quarter Revenue and $1.6 Million Net Loss

Boston Omaha Corporation (NYSE: BOC) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $22.2 million, compared with $21.7 million in the prior-year quarter. Net loss attributable to common stockholders was $1.6 million, or $0.05 per basic and diluted share.

The company said its insurance subsidiary, General Indemnity Group, is reported as held for sale and as discontinued operations beginning in the second quarter.

  • Billboard rentals revenue was $11.7 million, while broadband services revenue was $10.5 million.
  • Six-month revenue totaled $43.9 million, versus $42.8 million a year earlier.
  • Boston Omaha repurchased 451,281 Class A shares for $5.8 million during the quarter.
  • Unrestricted cash and investments totaled $31.8 million as of June 30, 2026.
  • The proposed sale of General Indemnity Group to CopperPoint Insurance Company is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to approvals and closing conditions.
