BeyondSpring Posts $5.7 Million Second-Quarter Net Loss

BeyondSpring (BYSI) reported a consolidated net loss of $5.7 million for the second quarter of 2026, compared with a $4.6 million net loss a year earlier. Basic and diluted loss per share was $0.02, while cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments totaled $6.5 million at June 30, 2026.

The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company highlighted updated Phase 2 data for plinabulin in metastatic non-small cell lung cancer and said it is preparing its confirmatory DUBLIN-4 Phase 3 program.

  • Net loss from continuing operations was $1.8 million, compared with $1.9 million in the prior-year quarter.
  • Second-quarter R&D expense was $1.0 million and G&A expense was $0.8 million.
  • Updated Phase 2 data reported a 58.0% 24-month overall survival rate in post-ICI metastatic NSCLC.
  • DUBLIN-4 is planned as a randomized, double-blind, 442-patient Phase 3 study of plinabulin plus docetaxel.
  • Min Qiu became chief executive officer effective July 1, 2026.
