Avista Q2 2026 net income rises to $35 million

Avista Corp. (AVA) reported second-quarter 2026 GAAP net income of $35 million, compared with $14 million in the same quarter of 2025. GAAP diluted earnings per share were $0.43, up from $0.17 a year earlier.

The company also confirmed its 2026 non-GAAP utility earnings guidance range of $2.52 to $2.72 per diluted share. For the first half of 2026, GAAP net income was $127 million, compared with $93 million in the prior-year period.
