Avery Dennison reports Q2 net sales up 10.9% to $2.5 billion

Avery Dennison (AVY) reported preliminary second-quarter 2026 net sales of $2.46 billion, up 10.9% from a year earlier. Net income rose to $204.1 million from $189.0 million, and diluted earnings per share were $2.67.

The company said Materials Group sales increased 15.9% to $1.8 billion, while Solutions Group sales decreased 0.5% to $667 million. Avery Dennison also issued full-year 2026 reported EPS guidance of $9.40 to $9.70.

  • Second-quarter net sales were $2.46 billion, compared with $2.22 billion a year earlier.
  • Net income was $204.1 million, up 8.0% from $189.0 million.
  • Diluted EPS was $2.67, compared with $2.41 in the prior-year quarter.
  • Materials Group reported sales of $1.80 billion, up 15.9%.
  • Solutions Group reported sales of $666.8 million, down 0.5%.
  • The company returned $347 million to shareholders in the first half through dividends and share repurchases.
