Aligos Therapeutics Reports $1.5 Million Q2 Net Loss and Pipeline Progress

Aligos Therapeutics (ALGS) reported second-quarter 2026 financial results and recent business updates, including progress for pevifoscorvir sodium and ALG-170675 in chronic hepatitis B virus infection.

The company reported a net loss of $1.5 million, or $0.14 per basic and diluted share, for the three months ended June 30, 2026. Cash, cash equivalents and investments totaled $30.4 million as of June 30, 2026, excluding a $25 million upfront payment received from Amoytop in July 2026.

  • Research and development expenses were $24.1 million in Q2 2026, compared with $14.0 million a year earlier.
