AECOM reports $3.59 billion Q3 revenue after project charge

AECOM (ACM) reported fiscal third-quarter 2026 revenue of $3.586 billion, down 14.2% from a year earlier. Net loss attributable to AECOM was $86.7 million, compared with net income of $131.0 million in the prior-year period.

The quarter included a $337 million pre-tax charge tied to a Construction Management project. The company said backlog rose 13% to a record $27.8 billion and updated fiscal 2026 guidance to reflect the project charge and lower net service revenue growth expectations.

  • GAAP diluted loss per share was $0.67 for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
  • Total backlog increased to $27.816 billion, supported by $4.2 billion in wins and a 1.6 book-to-burn ratio.
  • Operating cash flow was $95 million, while free cash flow was $55 million.
  • Fiscal 2026 guidance calls for adjusted EPS of $3.95 to $4.15 and adjusted EBITDA of $935 million to $965 million.
  • The company expects fiscal 2026 free cash flow of approximately $300 million.
