S. 5494: Zeus 95 Memorial Act

This bill would require the Secretary of the Army to place a monument at Arlington National Cemetery honoring the crew members of “Zeus 95” who were killed in action on March 12, 2026, while supporting Operation Epic Fury.

What it would require

• The monument must be placed at Arlington National Cemetery unless the Army cannot find an appropriate location there.
• If Arlington National Cemetery cannot accommodate it, the monument must instead be placed outside the cemetery entrance.
• The monument must be located on a non-burial plot.
• The design must be approved by both the Secretary of the Army and the Secretary of the Air Force.
