H.R. 9510: Veterans Health Administration Online Publication and Easy Navigation of Policies Act of 2026

This bill would require the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to post its national policies on a public website. Within 90 days after the bill becomes law, the Under Secretary for Health would have to make available all national VHA policies online, including:

• Directives
• Handbooks
• Memoranda issued by the Under Secretary
• Guidance and procedure guides needed to understand how VHA policies and programs are carried out

The bill would also require the VHA to keep the website updated. If a national policy is created or changed after the law takes effect, the updated version would have to be posted within 30 days of the policy being established or revised.

In practical terms, the bill is meant to make VHA policies easier for the public, veterans, caregivers, and others to find and read in one place online.
