Royal Caribbean Q2 revenue rises 6% as 2026 profit outlook increases

Royal Caribbean Group (RCL) reported second-quarter earnings per share of $4.20 and adjusted EPS of $4.21, with total revenue of $4.8 billion, up 6% year over year. Net income was $1.1 billion, compared with $1.2 billion a year earlier.

The company raised its full-year adjusted EPS outlook to a range of $17.73 to $17.87 and said full-year revenue is expected to grow 9% year over year. Royal Caribbean cited strong close-in demand, lower costs and favorable joint venture performance in the quarter.

  • Second-quarter load factor was 110%, and capacity rose 5% year over year.
  • The company delivered vacations to 2.4 million guests, up 6% from the prior year.
  • Net Yields increased 1.9% as reported and 1.2% in constant currency.
  • Third-quarter adjusted EPS is expected to be $6.26 to $6.36.
  • Liquidity was $6.9 billion as of June 30, 2026.
  • Royal Caribbean returned more than $600 million to shareholders in the quarter through buybacks and dividends.
