Rexel S.A. (RXL) Stock Rises on Q2 2026 Earnings

Rexel S.A. (RXL) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $5.7 billion, down 1.1% from a year earlier, but profitability improved across key lines. Gross profit was $1.4 billion, operating profit rose 15.8% to $345.1 million, and net income attributable to common shareholders increased 26.5% to $194.2 million.

Earnings per share also moved higher, with diluted EPS up 26.0% year over year to $0.66. Cash generation strengthened sharply, with cash from operating activities climbing to $152.0 million, more than double last year’s level.

On the balance sheet, Rexel ended the quarter with $1.2 billion in cash and cash equivalents, up 127.9% from a year ago. Total liabilities increased 11.4% to $11.7 billion, while capital spending remained modest at $40.1 million. The stock was up 1.05% from the market open this morning.
