LanzaTech Posts $184.3 Million Second-Quarter Net Income

LanzaTech Global (LNZA) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $9.0 million, down 1% from $9.1 million a year earlier, and net income of $184.3 million, compared with a $32.5 million net loss. Basic and diluted earnings per share were both $15.81.

The company said net income primarily reflected a $208.1 million non-cash unrealized gain on its investment in SGLT following the joint venture’s public listing and changes in its quoted market price.

  • Operating expenses were $11.7 million, down 67% from $35.1 million in the prior-year quarter.
  • Adjusted EBITDA loss was $7.6 million, compared with a $29.7 million loss a year earlier.
  • LanzaTech reintroduced guidance for third-quarter revenue of $8 million to $11 million and full-year revenue of $50 million to $55 million.
  • Cash and restricted cash totaled $48.9 million as of June 30, 2026.
  • The company selected North Sea Port in Ghent, Belgium, for its FLITE sustainable aviation fuel facility, targeting annual production of 79,000 tonnes of SAF and 9,000 tonnes of renewable diesel.
