DTE Energy (DTE) reported second-quarter 2026 earnings of $282 million, or $1.35 per diluted share, compared with $229 million, or $1.10 per diluted share, in the year-earlier period.
The Detroit-based energy company said it invested more than $2.6 billion in its utilities during the first half of 2026 and confirmed 2026 operating EPS guidance of $7.59 to $7.73.
- Second-quarter operating earnings were $274 million, or $1.32 per diluted share, compared with $283 million, or $1.36 per diluted share, in 2025.
- DTE invested over $900 million in the first half of 2026 to improve electric reliability while supporting customer affordability.
- The company advanced a $1.6 billion battery storage investment with LG Energy Solution Vertech for eight Michigan projects totaling 1.5 gigawatts of storage capacity.
