Alkermes Q2 Revenue Rises to $496 Million as CEO Transition Nears

Alkermes plc (ALKS) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $496.0 million, up from $390.7 million a year earlier. GAAP net income was $0.5 million, compared with $87.1 million in the second quarter of 2025, and diluted earnings per share were $0.00.

The company said Blair Jackson will assume the chief executive officer role on Aug. 1, 2026, while Richard Pops will continue as chairman. Alkermes maintained its 2026 total revenue outlook of $1.73 billion to $1.84 billion and updated its GAAP net loss outlook to $95 million to $115 million.

  • Total proprietary net sales were $411.7 million in the quarter.
  • VIVITROL revenue was $124.5 million, ARISTADA revenue was $96.7 million, LYBALVI revenue was $94.0 million and LUMRYZ revenue was $96.6 million.
  • Adjusted EBITDA was $139.2 million, compared with $126.5 million a year earlier.
  • Cash, cash equivalents and total investments were $691.6 million at June 30, 2026.
  • The company expects first ADHD data for ALKS 7290 in the coming months and topline results from the alixorexton phase 2 idiopathic hypersomnia study toward year-end.
