WEX Inc. ($WEX) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $753.5 million, topping the consensus estimate of $747.7 million and rising 14.2% from a year earlier. Gross profit increased 18.5% to $503.1 million, while operating profit climbed 29.6% to $203.2 million.

Profitability improved sharply across the bottom line. Net income attributable to common shareholders reached $108.5 million, up 59.3% year over year, and diluted earnings per share came in at $3.11, a 57.1% increase from the prior-year period.

On the balance sheet, cash and cash equivalents rose to $1.16 billion, while total liabilities increased to $15.15 billion. Cash flow from operating activities was negative $77.6 million, and capital spending on property and equipment totaled $43.5 million.
