Vista Gold Posts $3 Million Q2 Loss With $49.5 Million Cash

Vista Gold Corp. (VGZ) reported unaudited second-quarter 2026 results, including a consolidated net loss of $3.0 million, or $0.02 per common share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

The company said cash and cash equivalents totaled $49.5 million at quarter-end, compared with $13.6 million at Dec. 31, 2025, and that it continued to have no debt. Vista said it advanced permitting, project execution planning and technical optimization work for its Mt Todd gold project in Australia.
