Traws Pharma Reports Q2 2026 Net Loss of $3.0 Million

Traws Pharma (NASDAQ: TRAW) reported no revenue and a net loss of $3.0 million, or $0.16 per basic and diluted common share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported $5.0 million in cash and cash equivalents at quarter-end.

The company is preparing a revised toxicology package for an expected MHRA resubmission for tivoxavir marboxil at the end of the third quarter of 2026. Traws also said it is preparing a response to resolve the FDA clinical hold on the U.S. IND for the program.

  • Q2 revenue was $0, compared with $2.7 million in the prior-year quarter.
  • Research and development expense was $1.1 million, versus $2.3 million a year earlier.
  • General and administrative expense was $3.5 million, compared with $1.7 million in Q2 2025.
  • The April 2026 financing delivered $10.0 million in upfront proceeds and may provide up to $50.0 million in additional financing, subject to milestones and investor participation.
  • Traws had 15,368,277 common shares outstanding as of August 13, 2026.
