TCI posts Q2 net loss as revenue rises to $12.9 million

Transcontinental Realty Investors (TCI) reported a second-quarter 2026 net loss attributable to the Company of $1.1 million, or $0.13 per share, compared with net income of $0.2 million, or $0.02 per share, a year earlier.

Revenue rose to $12.9 million for the three months ended June 30, 2026, from $12.2 million a year earlier. The company said the increase came from multifamily properties and commercial properties, including occupancy gains at Stanford Center.

  • Total revenue was $12.9 million in Q2 2026, up from $12.2 million in Q2 2025.
  • Net operating loss increased to $2.3 million from $0.8 million a year earlier.
  • Total occupancy for stabilized properties was 81% at June 30, 2026, including 93% at multifamily properties and 58% at commercial properties.
  • The company sold 21 additional Windmill Farms lots for $1.0 million, resulting in a $0.8 million gain on sale.
