Parsons Q2 revenue falls to $1.6 billion as net loss hits $15 million

Parsons (PSN) reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.6 billion, down 1% from a year earlier, and net loss attributable to Parsons Corporation of $15.2 million. GAAP diluted earnings per share attributable to Parsons was negative $0.14, compared with $0.50 in the prior-year period.

The company said results were affected by portfolio-shaping actions and charges on a joint venture program. Parsons also reported a 1.2x book-to-bill ratio, total backlog of $9.3 billion and funded backlog of $6.6 billion.

  • Second-quarter revenue was $1.575 billion, compared with $1.584 billion a year earlier.
  • Net loss attributable to Parsons Corporation was $15.2 million, compared with net income of $55.2 million a year earlier.
  • GAAP basic and diluted EPS were both negative $0.14.
  • Federal Solutions revenue fell 6% year over year to $761 million.
  • Critical Infrastructure revenue rose 5% year over year to $815 million.
  • Parsons updated fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $6.2 billion to $6.5 billion.
