Freddie Mac (FMCKK) reported net income of $3.8 billion for the second quarter of 2026, up 61% from the second quarter of 2025. Net revenues were $6.0 billion, up 1% year over year, as higher net interest income was partially offset by lower non-interest income.
The company said it helped nearly 439,000 households buy, refinance or rent a home during the quarter, including 97,000 first-time homebuyers. Freddie Mac reported net worth of $78 billion at quarter-end.
