Five Below Q2 Sales Rise 22.9% as GAAP EPS Reaches $3.99

Five Below (NASDAQ: FIVE) reported fiscal second-quarter net sales of $1.26 billion, up 22.9% from a year earlier, for the 13 weeks ended August 1, 2026. Comparable sales increased 14.1%, while GAAP net income totaled $221.4 million and diluted earnings per share were $3.99.

The retailer raised its fiscal 2026 sales and EPS outlook and announced a new $600 million share-repurchase authorization.

  • GAAP operating income was $275.4 million, compared with $52.4 million a year earlier.
  • Year-to-date net sales rose 27.5% to $2.55 billion; net income was $344.5 million.
  • Five Below opened 52 net new stores in the quarter and ended with 2,022 stores in 46 states.
  • Fiscal 2026 net-sales outlook is $5.63 billion to $5.71 billion, versus prior guidance of $5.40 billion to $5.48 billion.
  • Fiscal 2026 diluted EPS outlook is $12.10 to $12.58; third-quarter net-sales outlook is $1.21 billion to $1.23 billion.
