Coronado Global Resources (CODQL) reported a June-quarter operational rebound, with group ROM production up 18.4% from the March quarter to 6.4 million tonnes and saleable production up 39.3% to 4.1 million tonnes. Total revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2026, was $514.1 million, compared with $467.2 million in the March quarter.
The company said it returned to positive earnings for the first time since Q2 2024, aided by stronger metallurgical coal sales mix, improved realized pricing and lower mining cash costs. Coronado said cash at quarter-end was about $98 million and that the sale of the Logan Complex is expected to close soon.
- Group sales volumes were 3.5 million tonnes, broadly stable with the March quarter.
- Met coal represented 80.4% of group sales volumes, up from 71.4% in the prior quarter.
- Group average mining cash costs fell 27.7% from the March quarter to $97.9 per tonne.
- Curragh saleable production rose 75.6% from the March quarter to 3.0 million tonnes.
