Administrative Regulations

The Secretary of Defense will have the authority to establish regulations for managing the provisions in this act, ensuring that the implementation is streamlined and in alignment with existing healthcare policies.

Forms Development

Within 180 days after the enactment of the act, the Secretary of Defense is required to develop new forms that will be used by civilian healthcare providers who cater to members eligible for TRICARE Reserve Select. These forms will gather important information including:

• Medical readiness classification
• Fitness for deployment
• Any other information deemed necessary by the Secretary

Effective Date

This legislation is aimed to come into effect one year after its enactment, allowing time for proper implementation and adjustments in the healthcare system.
