Amendments to Existing Laws

• The bill proposes striking existing requirements from Section 202(b) of the REAL ID Act and updates the numbering of paragraphs in that section.
• Additionally, it makes a technical amendment to the Court Security Improvement Act of 2007 concerning identification requirements as well.

This reform aims to address the flexibility states have regarding gender identity representation on ID documents, thereby recognizing a broader range of gender identities in official records.
