When you access Quiver through our developer API or connect Quiver to an AI assistant (such as Anthropic’s Claude) using our connector, we collect: the email address associated with your login (used to match you to your Quiver account and subscription); the queries your tools make (for example, ticker symbols, date ranges, and dataset names); and technical request data (IP address, timestamps, request identifiers, and client application identity).
We do not receive or store your password when you sign in through our login service — authentication is performed by our identity provider (see “Disclosure of Your Information”), which issues short-lived access credentials on your behalf. We record only a one-way cryptographic fingerprint of such credentials in our logs, never the credential itself.

Identity provider.
We use WorkOS, Inc. (“WorkOS”) to operate the sign-in service for our API and AI-assistant connections. When you sign in, WorkOS receives and processes your email address, IP address, and browser/device information in order to verify your identity and issue access credentials. WorkOS processes this data on our behalf; see WorkOS’s privacy policy at https://workos.com/privacy.
AI assistant platforms.
When you connect Quiver to an AI assistant, the data returned by your requests (for example, market data and trading disclosures) is delivered to that assistant’s platform (for example, Anthropic) acting on your instructions. We share this data only in response to requests you or your assistant initiate; the assistant platform’s handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
We may also disclose your Personal Data:
We do not control the collection and use of your information collected by third parties described above in Disclosure of Your Information. When possible, these organizations are under contractual obligations to use this data only for providing the services to us and to keep this information strictly confidential. These third parties may, however, aggregate the information they collect with information from their other customers for their own purposes.
In addition, we strive to provide you with choices regarding the Personal Data you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with control over your Personal Data:
Disconnecting an AI assistant.
You may disconnect Quiver from an AI assistant at any time in that assistant’s settings; this stops new access immediately. Access credentials issued for such connections expire automatically within minutes and are refreshed only while a connection remains authorized. You may also contact us to revoke API credentials associated with your account.
We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can learn more about interest-based advertisements and your opt-out rights and options from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on its website (www.networkadvertising.org) and from members of the Digital Advertising Alliance on its website (www.aboutads.info).
You may send us an email at [email protected] to request access to, correct, or delete any Personal Data that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your Personal Data except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
API and AI-assistant request logs are retained for 30 days for security and reliability purposes and are then deleted or de-identified.
